Team Altamura presents Memushaj as trainer: 'He will make himself heard, with plenty of personality'

Team Altamura has appointed Ledian Memushaj as its new head coach. Sporting director Matteo Lauriola explained in an interview with Corriere dello Sport why the club is confidently choosing the former midfielder and expressed his confidence in his qualities.

"As a coach he may be a surprise, but I know him from his time at Carpi and Lecce. As a player he was a leader," said Lauriola, who revealed that Memushaj had previously been on the radar. “We also had contact last summer, but there was a lot new then: a new group, a higher category and he would be a debutant on the bench.”


According to Lauriola, Memushaj fits perfectly with the course that Altamura has set. The Albanian stands for attacking football and clear principles that match the current selection. "He will make a name for himself, because he is a trainer with a strong offensive streak and ideas that match well with the group we have. The technical-tactical project will continue, despite the change of trainer," he said.

“He has plenty of personality and clear concepts,” concluded the sporting director. With Memushaj, Team Altamura expects to continue on the path it has taken: proactive football linked to a strong leadership style down the line.
