Vlahovic contract extension at Juventus: Stalemate despite Carnevali's arrival
Juventus and Dusan Vlahovic remain far apart when it comes to a contract extension. According to Sky Sport, the Serbian striker's financial wishes are still a stumbling block. Only when Vlahovic adjusts his demands will resumption of talks seem possible.
There are currently no new developments surrounding a possible contract extension of Dusan Vlahovic with Juventus. Despite the recent arrival of Giovanni Carnevali as general manager, the attacker's situation has remained unchanged. Negotiations between club and player are still closed.
Previous attempts to reach an agreement on a new contract have not yielded results. The biggest bottleneck appears to be the difference in financial expectations: Juventus is unwilling to adjust its current policy, while Vlahovic sticks to his high salary wishes.
As long as both sides hold their ground, a quick agreement seems unlikely. The only scenario in which talks could possibly resume is if the Serbian striker changes his demands.
