Antonio Vergara's agent does not rule out leaving Napoli, confirms Como's interest
Antonio Vergara's agent, Mario Giuffredi, has indicated that his client could potentially leave Napoli this summer, but that it is up to the club to make that decision. There is also interest from Como.
Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Napoli talent Antonio Vergara, has not ruled out his client's departure from the Stadio Maradona this summer. "Vergara intends to stay at Napoli. He is a 23-year-old player with perhaps the most striking natural talent in Serie A," Giuffredi said in an interview with Gazzetta. "He has determination and character, but we have to understand the club's position. If they prefer to receive €25 million or €30 million for him, we will not stand in anyone's way. It is not Vergara's decision, nor his agent's. It will be the club's decision. At best we could ask to discuss a new contract." Vergara has been linked with a move to Como, with the agent confirming the interest: "They [Como] are a club that has always shown an interest in Vergara, as have others," he added. Vergara scored three goals and provided four assists in 19 appearances in all competitions in 2025-26 and has yet to make his debut for Italy's senior national team.
