Spanish media: Como close to agreement with Getafe for Luis Milla (approximately €5 million)
According to Spanish reports, Como is close to the arrival of Luis Milla from Getafe; personal agreement has been reached and the clubs are discussing a fee of approximately €5 million.
Como seems to welcome a new Spanish reinforcement. After the departure of Sergi Roberto - and with Alberto Moreno who seems to be heading in the same direction - the selection of trainer Cesc Fàbregas is focusing on Luis Milla. According to the Catalan sports newspaper Sport, the deal is at an advanced stage.
The 29-year-old midfielder (1994) is under contract with Getafe until June 2027. Sport reports that Milla has already reached a personal agreement with Como. The clubs are now said to be discussing the final details of the transfer, with Como willing to pay around €5 million for the midfielder.
Como is aiming for additional experience and quality in midfield to broaden the choices for Fàbregas. Milla had a stable last season at Getafe, with 38 appearances, 1 goal and no less than 10 assists. Spanish media expect a quick 'fumatabianca' once the last wrinkles between the clubs have been ironed out.
The club from Lombardy is thus preparing for a historic season under Fàbregas, with ambitions at the highest level and a selection that is being strengthened step by step.
