Grimsby Town strengthens their attack with Josh Andrews, who signs a two-year contract after leaving Gillingham.
Grimsby Town have strengthened with Josh Andrews. The 24-year-old striker signs a two-year contract with the club. Andrews played for Gillingham last season, scoring five goals in 55 league appearances, before leaving at the end of the season.
Trainer David Artell is convinced of the qualities of his new acquisition. "He has all the qualities to become a real top striker. He provides stiff competition up front and we think we will get the best out of him," says the coach via club channels.
With the arrival of Andrews, Grimsby adds extra power and competition to the vanguard heading into the new season.
